Visual Arts
A series of artist talks was organized at TWIXTlab as part of the ongoing study of artistic research in Greece. Beginning in spring 2019, invited artists will talk about their work responding to issues regarding the production and representation of knowledge, and the ways in which artistic research is being perceived within the current artistic, educational, socio-political context.
The study of artistic research is being conducted by the visual artist and anthropologist Elpida Rikou and the art historian Katerina Konstantinou with the generous support of the Research Centre for the Humanities and in collaboration with TWIXTlab. Studying artistic research nowadays in Greece aims at promoting the discussion about the poetics and politics of artistic research.
