motto: you the observer are what you are observing
Two “dancejacks”, lasting 3 and 4 hours, performed by two multicellular groups who ceaselessly weaved the web of movement in circular orbits. A choreographic circuit pursuing the minimal and the ultimate coordination of a social ensemble.
The practice evolved during the research of the thematic “Love & Revolution” by which 5 performances were shared. It took its final form in the epilogue “Hi Jack.Hijack!” and then was shared in a three-week workshop in the local community. It concluded its journey with a performance in a longer version that also minimized the physical distance of audience members and performers.That was an intimate version, a charming espionage on dance.
The performers in both “dancejacks” remained naked in their performance, walking their own personal journey, while they were also part of a collective place that redirects constantly and is always on the move. Audience members were able to come and go freely during the performance and to collect movement details according to their personal visual and sensorial wondering. A wondering of thought that truly is able to reveal ourselves, thus implying that it is the multitude of interpretations and views that encourages the renewal of an action.
